Camu Camu Refreshment Recipe
The Camu Camu is a fruit with high content of vitamin C and antioxidants for the body, also the Camu Camu Refreshment is one of the most traditional recipes that is prepared in Peru. This small fruit is being highlighted by its high content of Vitamin C “40 times more than the orange”. Also for its great benefits it provides.
This Amazonian drink, from the Peruvian jungles, has a main ingredient that is the Camu Camu, some countries do not have the facility to obtain the fruit, but they can use other presentations such as Camu Camu in powder, in pill or liquid.

Camu Camu Refreshment Ingredients
- 1 kg of fruits of Camu Camu
- 2 liters of cold boiled water
- 10 ice cubes
Camu Camu Refreshment Preparation
1ºP: Wash the Camu Camu and cut them into pieces, in a blender add the fruits, with a liter of water, liquefy for about 8 minutes.
2ºP: At the end of straining the Camu Camu liquefied and place it in a jug, return to liquefy the fruit strained with the other liter of water for 5 more minutes, when finished combine with the first smoothie of the jar.
3ºP: Add the ice to the Camu Camu Refreshment and add sugar to taste.
4ºP: Serve and drink, Bon appetit!. It can be accompanied with a rich Arracacha Cake.
